Ontwerp voor een affiche. Drie Nederlandse militairen die samen in een boek lezen. Het zijn van links naar rechts een soldaat, een matroos en een vliegenier. Onder het kader staat in zwarte letters een tekst in het Nederlands en in het Engels: 'Hollandsche boeken gevraagd voor de militairen' en 'Dutch books old & new urgently needed for our fources'. Hieronder staat in zwarte letters een adres vermeld: 'Nederlandsche ministerie van defencie Stratton House Stratton str. London W.1'.
