Militair in uniform, mogelijk van de Prinses Irene Brigade. Met kisten aan, helm op en bepakking op zijn rug. De soldaat is naar rechts geknield, zijn rechterknie steunt op de grond. Met de vinger aan de trekker van zijn mitrailleur.
