NG-1992-3-2-1
Prins Bernhard neemt in Wolverhampton afscheid van de manschappen van de Prinses Irene Brigade die naar Nederlands-Indië vertrekken, januari 1942. Bernhard staat bij een vlaggenmast, rechts van de prins staat Minister van Oorlog Hendrik van Boeijen. Tegenover de prins staat kolonel David van Voorst Evekink, commandant van de Prinses Irene Brigade. Achter de minister staan nog drie militairen, waaronder luitenant-generaal G.B. Noothoven van Goor en kolonel H.J. Phaff. Op de achtergrond staan soldaten opgesteld in gelid. Hierachter is een gebouw zichtbaar met een mast met de Nederlandse vlag. Links en rechts bomen.
