This tour gives insight into the developments that photography underwent in the last century, and will show you the most beautiful photos.

In the 20th century, photography developed into a multifaceted and mature medium. All kinds of new genres and techniques emerged: photo-journalism, colour photography, fashion and advertising photography, photography as an art form and, of course, amateur photography.

Many images have by now become world famous: the photographic studies of motion by Muybridge, Man Ray's experimental pictures, the Parisian nocturnal scenes by Brassaï, or the portraits by Rineke Dijkstra. This tour gives insight into the developments that photography underwent in the last century, and will show you the most beautiful photos.
