Description
Van de twee op de grond zittende mannen heeft de linker man zijn benen gekruist in kleermakerszit. Hij draagt een hoog opgeschorte lendendoek (veshti, lungi) en een brede omslagdoek (chadar) om zijn bovenlijf. De man ernaast leunt tegen zijn buurman aan, voorovergebogen en met opgetrokken blote benen. Ook hij heeft een omslagdoek om zijn schouders en armen gewikkeld. Het haar van beide mannen is kort geschoren en ze hebben geen baardgroei. Gezien hun kleding en haardracht zijn het waarschijnlijk uit Zuid-India afkomstige arbeiders. Blad 101 uit een schetsboek met 117 bladen.
