Eerst met beyde handen aan bydeooren gevat dan kruys over elkander op de borst en buyk dan op de dyen, by de knien voor overgeboogen dan geknield, en vooroover op het aangezigt geboogen, dan weer opgestaan...’

Zwartwittekening van mannelijke moslims in gewaden en met tulband en hun manier van bidden naar Mekka en de manier van begroeten van de imam. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 2 (1808), p. 85.
