Description

In het huis van een welgestelde familie wordt kraambezoek ontvangen. Op het komfoor in het midden wordt koffie gezet en links is een tot slaaf gemaakte vrouw alvast sorbet aan het maken. Na deze versnaperingen krijgt het bezoek rozenwater om de handen mee te wassen uit een sprenkelaar en parfum uit een soort verstuiver. De doeken die aan de muren hangen zijn geschenken van het kraambezoek.
