Shunshi was an occasional amateur designer.

A coastal view with a rock in the foreground, various shells around it. Across the water, the first sunrise of the New Year marked by a red sun.
This is a rather amateurish depiction of Enoshima Island and its surroundings.
This print is a picture calendar, egoyomi, for the New Year of the Snake 1797, the numerals for the long months, 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 11 and 12, on the rock; those for the short months, 2, 4, 6, 7, intercalary 7, and 9, on the shells. One haiku poem by Chizuru.
The poem refers to Kinkizan, an alternative name for the Enoshima Island.
