Christus rust bij de Jakobsbron, nadat hij zijn discipelen naar de stad heeft gestuurd. Links vertrekken zij richting de stad. Een Samaritaanse vrouw komt om water te putten en spreekt met Christus. Onder de voorstelling een verwijzing in het Latijn naar de Bijbeltekst in Joh. 4. Deze prent maakt deel uit van een album.
