Description

Een zaal van het computercentrum van de Amro-bank (nu ABN-Amro) in Amstelveen staat vol met grote diskettestations, genaamd "33-50". Ze worden gebruikt om gegevens op te slaan. Samen vormen ze het zogeheten "externe geheugen". De diskettestations worden bestuurd en beheerd met de controlepanelen linksachter. De man maakt deel uit van het technisch personeel van de computerafdeling. Het merendeel van het personeel dat bij het werk in deze zaal betrokken is werkt echter buiten de zaal.
