Klokvormige kop en schotel van porselein, beschilderd op het glazuur in zwart en goud. Op het plat een medaillon met het portret van Johannes Cocceius met daaromheen het opschrift 'IOHANNES COCCEIUS THEOLOGIA PROFESSOR IN ACADEMIA LUGDUNENSI'; op de binnenrand een band met ranken in Meissen-stijl. De kop met dezelfde decoratie, met het opschrift 'IOANNES COCCEIUS'. Europese voorstelling in encre de Chine.
