Op de buitenzijde een medaillon met het portret van Johannes Cocceius met het opschrift 'IOHANNES COCCEIUS'; op de buitenrand een band met ranken in Meissen-stijl. Een barst en twee chips in de rand. Europese voorstelling in encre de Chine.
