Wooden model of a turnbuckle, painted black.
No thread is indicated on the model. It has a shackle with a bolt on one side, a thimble on the other.
This model represents the turnbuckle N° 6 according to the regulations of 1858.1 Pilaar describes turnbuckle numbers 1 to 5.2 The numbers refer to the size and place in the rigging.
