Polychromed wooden half bracket model of the port side of a launch, mounted on a rectangular wooden backboard.
The side of the vessel is depicted by ribbands attached to frame moulds, the gunwale is planked and painted red and yellow. It has a pointed bow, the stern has a square tuck and a flat transom. The stempost is curved, the sternpost is straight and fitted with a broad rudder. The sheer rises towards both ends, one wale is indicated and continuous around the tuck. The hull is S-bottomed and painted white below the waterline. The keel is slightly curved, rising at the ends.
