How will we use your contribution?

Since 2010, contributions from our Patrons have been earmarked to support special annual projects at the Rijksmuseum. These projects are devoted to the conservation, restoration or digitization of Dutch national heritage.

Cost of Rijks Patron membership

€1000 annually for joint membership, or five-year annuity construction.

Would you like to support the museum long-term as a Rijks Patron? Then you may be interested in making periodic contributions through an annuity. We can draw up a notarial deed free of charge for a five-year annuity. Under the Dutch Gift and Inheritance Tax Act, you receive an annual deduction of 125%, or €1250, on your charitable gift, resulting in a tax savings of 52% for Box I income. Effectively, your €1000 gift amounts to a net payment of €350 a year.
