Job applications

Jobs advertised by the Rijksmuseum in various media, both online and in print, are also posted on this website. Details of how to apply are given in the text of the specific job vacancy. Applications can only be made online. All written applications (unsolicited or otherwise) and CVs that are sent to our postal address will be disregarded.

A closing date for application is included in all job vacancies advertised. This date will be adhered to strictly. Applications received after the closing date will not be taken into consideration as part of the selection procedure. In some cases, a job vacancy will remain online after the closing date has passed. This is to give applicants who have been invited for an interview the opportunity to read the advertisement again.

Due to the overwhelming response we receive in response to some vacancies, it may be some time before you receive a reply.

Unsolicited applications

Unsolicited applications, whether they be for a job, internship or volunteer work, cannot be taken into consideration. If you are interested in working for the Rijksmuseum, we advise you to regularly consult our website for vacancies.
