Joosje van Bennekom is Metal Conservator

Curriculum vitae and work

bennekom Degree in Biology at the University of Amsterdam (UvA); did a foundation degree in Art History at UvA; trained to become a metal conservator at ICN. Two years of freelance work (including the memorial stone of William of Orange in Delft, Sonneveld House NAI). She then had a permanent contract at The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, working as a metal conservator in the images department. In 2007, she signed a one-year employment contract with the Rijksmuseum to work in the Department of Metal Restoration.
