Education - General information

Planning to take a school class to visit the museum without a guided tour? Please book your visit so we know when to expect your class and can make arrangements to welcome you.

Please note:

  • There must be at least one school supervisor for every 15 pupils to keep the group orderly, together and at a suitable distance from the artworks.
  • The museum security guards will direct any instructions to the school supervisor(s), for example if pupils’ behaviour jeopardizes the art or is disruptive to other visitors.
  • Your class may visit during the time slot of your booking. If you wish to stay longer, you must book an additional slot.
  • If your pupils have a school assignment to do at the museum, note that only pencils and pens are allowed in the museum. Markers and paint are prohibited.

For more information, please refer to our general terms and conditions for visitors.
