De dochters van Cecrops vinden Erechthonius. Twee vrouwen knielen bij het kind dat in een rieten mand ligt. Het kind heeft deels het lijf van een slang. Rechts kijken een jonge en een oude vrouw toe. Op een stenen voetstuk staat een buste.
