Description

De personificaties van Vrijheid en Patriottisme rouwen bij de graftombe van Joan Derk baron van der Capellen tot den Pol (1741-84). Op de grond liggen een gedoofde fakkel met het jaartal 1784 en een gebroken juk, links een zonsopgang met het jaartal 1741. Op de tombe een portretbuste van de overledene.
