Description

Allegorie op de triomftocht van de prins van Oranje, de latere koning Willem II, als held van Waterloo, 1815. De prins staat op een strijdwagen getrokken door vier witte paarden en wordt gekroond door de Vrede. De wagen rijdt door een triomfpoort of ereboog een stad binnen. In de lucht Faam en engelen met een hoorn des overvloeds en het wapen van de prins. Langs de kant de dankbare inwoners en soldaten met vaandels en standaarden.
