De tekening komt sterk overeen met een prent in: Gracht, Jacob van der. Anatomie der wtterlicke deelen van het menschelick lichaem (...). Den Haag: Jacob van der Gracht, 1634. De tekening is echter gespiegeld en zou mogelijk als voorbeeld voor de prent kunnen hebben gediend. Tekening zit in een omslag met meerdere anatomische tekeningen, genummerd RP-T-1989-256 en RP-T-1989-258 t/m RP-T-1989-289.
