De Heilige Paulus zit op een rots, omringd door boeken. Op de achtergrond is het verhaal van zijn bekering te zien: hoe hij onderweg naar Damascus getroffen door een groot licht en een stem uit de hemel van zijn paard viel. onder de voorstelling een onderschrift in Latijn.
