De drie Schikgodinnen met de levensdraad. Links zit Klotho (de spinster) die de levensdraad spint. Centraal zit Lachesis (de verdeelster) die de draad afmeet en aldus beslist hoelang iemand nog te leven heeft. Rechts zit Atropos (de onafwendbare) die iemands draad doorbijt.
