In arranging his album, Zobel looked for witty combinations and visual jokes. For instance, the prints on this wall (from the section devoted to mythology and allegory) all have a foreground filled with water. The bodies of water assume various forms. Here it is a bath for women, with four elegant nude ladies being spied upon by a lecherous satyr hidden behind a curtain.
