Description

Themis, godin van gerechtigheid staat boven in de omlijsting met in haar handen de caduceus en een kom. Ze staat tevens voor het astrologisch teken van Virgo. Daarom worden naast haar de astrologische tekens Weegschaal (links) en Leeuw (rechts) afgebeeld. Rechts staat de vrouwelijke allegorie voor Goed Bestuur, met een slang in haar hand als verwijzing naar voorzichtigheid. Links staat een vrouw met vijf borsten en een cornucopea naast haar. Zij is Welvaart. Onderaan de prent twee gevangenen, Blind Geweld (met de blinddoek) en Wilde Passie (de sater).
