Zonder titel (Untitled), Erik Andriesse, 1979
Erik Andriesse was an inventive painter and draughtsman. After his training at the alternative art academy Ateliers 63, he began experimenting with printing using stamps made of fruit and berry juice. As long as it was not expensive drawing paper, various materials served as supports, including fruit boxes, wrapping paper and even toilet paper. Andriesse produced this series of nine prints using watercolour and a melon as a stamp.
