Description

Lycaon (rechts) probeerde Jupiter (links, met adelaar) te bedriegen door diens zoon Arcas te slachten en hem als avondmaal aan te bieden, waarop Jupiter hem in een wolf verandert. Het paleis van de koning wordt op de achtergrond getroffen door de bliksem. In de ondermarge een vierregelige toelichting, in twee kolommen, in het Latijn.
