The Rotterdam artist Zekveld began in 1965 to paint with bright colours in a flat style with hardly any depth. The same features can be found in this print from a year later. A hand is wiping a misted window clean with a cloth, which has virtually the same design as the pavement outside. The foreground and background blend into each other here.
