This series of prints with a few so-called ‘holes etchings’ is the most experimental graphic art Constant ever made. The scratched in marks and reserved holes raise associations with charts of solar systems, or maps of imaginary countries. The prints date from the period when Constant was working out his futuristic project New Babylon in graphic art, maquettes, manifestos, and writings.
