Zes vrouwen en een meisje gekleed in japonnen met lange mouwen. Sjaals. Mantel afgezet met gerimpelde stroken stof. Accessoires: luifelhoeden met bloemen en/of veren, handschoenen, broche, zakdoek. Volgens het onderschrift zijn dit japonnen voor of geïnspireerd op: 'Her Majesty Adelaide, the Queen Dowager, The Duchess of Kent, Princess Alice, The Majesty Victoria, Queen of England'. Prent uit het modetijdschrift The World of Fashion (1824-1891).
