Description

Naaister en meisje lopend op straat om naaiwerk af te leveren. De vrouw draagt een 'robe à la Polonaise' waarop over het lijf en de rok een schort is gespeld, langs de hals, zoom en mouwen afgezet met gerimpelde stroken van contrasterende stof. Om de hals een gerimpelde halsdoek. Op het opgekapte haar een muts met lint en twee slippen. Lange handschoenen en in de rechterhand een vouwwaaier. Onder de arm een panier en een schoudermantel. Het meisje draagt een japon met driekwart mouwen, fichu en een schort. Op het opgekapte haar een muts met lint; een koord om de hals.
