Description

Bauer vervaardigde een serie van acht etsen als illustratie bij het prozagedicht Akëdysséril van Villiers de l'Isle Adam, dat door Lodewijk van Deyssel naar het Nederlands vertaald werd. Dit is een ontwerp voor het titelblad van het prentenalbum waarin de etsen werden opgenomen. Een zittende boeddha met ervoor drie olifanten. Rondom het hoofd van de boeddha een cirkel.
