Description

Minerva overwint Vulcanus in een gevecht. Zij staat met een lans gericht op Vulcanus die op de grond ligt. In de lucht Cupido met boog en pijlkoker. Op de grond een uil met een gebroken pijl in zijn snavel. De prent heeft een Latijns onderschrift. Mogelijk een emblematische voorstelling: wijsheid overwint de passionele (vurige) liefde.
