Description

Spotprent op de onderschatting door de Engelse oppositie van de dreiging van een mogelijke Franse invasie in 1795. Franse sansculotten zittend op dikke Nederlanders stomen af op Engeland. Voorstelling geprojecteerd met een toverlantaarn ('ombres chinoises') en bewonderend gade geslagen door een groep van vijf leden van de oppositie.
