Description

Vijf kraanvogels op het strand aan de waterrand; een gedeelte van hun vleugels is aangegeven in blinddruk. Deze prent is de eerste staat waarop het eerste gedicht eindigt met ´het eerste mooie weer´ (hatsu hiyori), dit is in latere edities verbeterd naar 'vanaf de eerste dag van het jaar' (hatsuhi yori). Met één gedicht.
