Description

Een koto (Japans snaarinstrument) in beschermende doek, een bamboefluit en tafeltje met nieuwjaarsdecoraties bestaande uit onder andere varenblad, een rivierkreeft en een miniatuur pijnboom. De schelp waarnaar de titel verwijst, is afgebeeld in het waaiervormige cartouche. Met twee gedichten.
