De personificatie van Matigheid zit met haar paardentoom naast Minerva op een wolk. Samen proberen ze de figuren op de grond tot de orde te roepen. Links van de wolk staat een man die Matigheid en Minerva met een zwaard te lijf wil gaan. Op de voorgrond staat Hercules bij een vrouw (de Hoogmoed?): een naakte vrouw met muurkroon en met een pauw in de armen. Zij probeert hem te verleiden. Hercules trapt Amor met zijn pijl en boog tegen de grond. Op de voorgrond ligt een kaartspel en staat een gevleugeld duivels figuur op een zak met geld. In de ondermarge een zevenregelig vers in het Frans. De prent maakt deel uit van een album.
