Description

Semele smeekt Jupiter om haar te beminnen. Hij geeft met tegenzin toe want met de gloed van zijn bliksem doodt hij haar. Jupiter, omgeven door verblindend licht, zweeft met zijn blimsemschicht in de hand voor het bed van Semele. Amor zit op het voeteneind en weent. In de marge een onderschrift in het Frans.
