Description

Portret van Hendrick Goltius (1558-1616), schilder en graveur, op 59-jarige leeftijd. Buste naar links, in ovaal. Het ovaal is gevat in een architectonische omlijsting met allegorische figuren die verwijzen naar zijn kunstenaarschap. Links zit 'Spirito' met caduceus, rechts zit 'Disegno' met tekenattributen. Midden boven de drie gratiën. Boven het portret, in het fronton een doodshoofd, twee hoornen des overvloeds en twee bazuinen.
