Deze staat van prent voor het eerst gebruikt in: Guicciardini, Lodovico. Totius Belgii Desriptio (…). Amsterdam: Johannes Janssonius Junior, 1652. Hierna is deze prent tot 1662 nog gebruikt in latere uitgaven van deze publicatie, uitgegeven door Van Meurs. Uit welke uitgave het huidige exemplaar precies komt is niet na te gaan. Dezelfde prent is tevens gebruikt in Caert en Stedeboexken van Nederlandt. Amsterdam: Jan Janssen Brouwer, 1652.
