De volledige titel van de serie luidt 'The demonstrations of a pregnant uterus of a woman at her full time. In six tables, as large as nature. Done from the pictures painted, after dissections, by Mr. van Riemsdyk' en verscheen voor het eerst in Londen in 1757 op initiatief van professor in de anatomie en chirurgie Charles Nicholas Jenty.
