Diary with Photographs of a Trip to Norway, Hendrik Herman van den Berg, 1895
At the end of the 19th century young people were travelling with regularity. This is a diary of a trip to Norway undertaken by Henk van den Berg and his cousin Guillaume Holle in July. Henk illustrated his writings with photographs, which could also have been taken by Holle. They sometimes signed their photographs jointly in jest as ‘Holle van den Bergh & Co Amateur Photographers.’
