The Photographer’s Living Room with Pablo or Andrea, Robert Frank, c. 1956
Robert Frank is the James Dean of photography. With his raw way of photographing he was a rebel who looked at America in the 1950s with a critical eye. He also took poetic and tranquil photographs of his own family life with his wife and children. His young son Pablo, or daughter Andrea, is hidden behind vases with flowers and the teapot on a messy table in a corner of this domestic interior.
