Scheepsonderdeel, een schinkeltros samengesteld uit twee schinkelhaken en een touw. Het ene uiteinde van de tros is door middel van een knoop afgebonden en het andere uiteinde is afgebonden door een knoop bv. type 16 of 12 (de Tack Knot), om dit uiteinde is een woeling gedraaid.
