Description

Model van een overnaadse twaalfriems dubbelbanks walvissloep op standaard. Het vaartuig is een spitsgatter met verhoogde vloer, waarvan de middendelen ontbreken. Ook alle doften ontbreken. Op het boord twaalf dollen en nog eens vier aan een kant. De middelste vloerbalk heeft een oog.

Explanatory note

De naam verwijst naar de oorsprong als sloep voor de walvisvaart, maar deze sloepen werden ook als boot op andere zeeschepen gebruikt. Kenmerkend is dat beide uiteinden gelijk zijn waardoor de sloep niet gekeerd hoefde te worden.
