Rigged block model of a single-masted ship with sails, mounted on a stand.
The model has one deck, a rounded bow and stern, and the sternpost is raked. At the stern a straight rudder is fitted with a decorated rudder head and a wooden tiller and a kind of sweep on the gunwale. The sheer rises slightly towards both ends, the model has one wale. The hull is S-bottomed. The model is fitted with two anchors, a windlass, two water casks, a chimney for the galley, a deck light, a small deckhouse, two oars, two pumps, one companionway and two boathooks. It has a gaff rig with sails, with a bowsprit to port, a foresail with deck horse, a gaff topsail, a blue flag and the Dutch tricolour.
The model was made from drawings in 1835.1 It is unknown whether the ship was ever built.
