Wooden waterline model of a three-masted ship.
The hull is not planked and shows only the main timbers. It has four levels: lower deck, main deck, upper decks (quarterdeck and forecastle) and a poop, none of them are planked. The stern has a round tuck and a hollow counter. But for the timbers, no details of the taffrail are provided, nor are the quarter galleries indicated. The sheer rises a little towards both ends. The model has two wales and a sheer rail. The model is not rigged.
A notable feature is that the main and mizzen channels, rigged with deadeyes and chainplates, are continuous.
Obreen mentions only one model no. 657,1 but two models have been found. Where this model comes from, is a mystery; it is almost an exact replica of model NG-MC-657-1, but without its rigging.
Scale unknown.
