Model of an anchor release gear mounted on a base.
The gear consists of a slide for the chain, of which one section can be lowered so that the horizontal chain links cannot pass. This section can be lifted with a tumbler operated with a lever on the side, thus releasing the chain. The release is topped with a brace.
