Model of a masting crane, mounted on a wooden base.
The model consists of a wooden structure with an inclined column, the head overhanging the quay side. The head has two sheaves for the tackle, which is missing. On the crane legs steps for climbing and a double railing have been indicated. Two capstans and knightheads, which should be behind the crane, are missing.
Apart from some minor construction details and the joinery, this model is identical to model NG-MC-33. It resembles the crane on an engraving by Jan Bulthuis from 1783 with a view of Hellevoetsluis.1
